~Pace Conner, Director of Entertainment

The Cloister, Sea Island, GA

Jim & Sylvia performed two recent very successful concerts at the new Cloister at Sea Island, Georgia. One concert focused on the breath of Hispanic music ranging from the Spanish renaissance from the time of Columbus to the traditional passion fired flamenco and the salsa that is currently sweeping the nation. For the Easter Sunday concert Jim and Sylvia Kalal performed an elegant renaissance / baroque repertoire of some of the lovely literature from those periods. In this program Sylvia delighted the guests with her sensitive / gossamer-style playing on the baroque lute.
